New week and we start it with energy and charged batteries after a great weekend.

You know how much I like contrasting styles in my looks and you also know how much I identify with it but there's something else that identifies me, and that is red lips and crop tops.  Well, these three things have become my identification tag, things that make me feel really me and comfy.

Nueva semana, que empezamos con fuerza y con las pilas cargadas después de un buen fin de semana. 

Sabéis lo mucho que me gusta hacer en mis looks un juego de contraste de estilos  y de sobra sabéis lo mucho que me identifica pero hay otra cosa que me identifica mucho, y eso es, los labios rojos y llevar crop tops. En total estas tres cosas se han convertido en mi seña de identidad con las que me siento muy yo y muy cómoda.

Layers layers and more layers.  Layering of items of different lengths in the same look is something I've always liked, I think it makes the outfit stand out and visually it looks really good, that's my opinion of course, because, like everything,  it will have its detractors. Also it's ideal for the winter because it's freezing outside but as soon as you go inside it's warm and this way you can take off or add as you need, although I like the the result of the total layering, with all its layers, total onion style.
This look I'm back with what I think have been the stars of my wardrobe this season, from the moment they entered it. The first, without a doubt, the maxi cardigan, that I never take off, and the other, the maxi coat from Pull & Bear that, even though it only arrived in my wardrobe a short while ago, there's rarely a day that I go out without it. Sorry about that but when I like something that much and I've been dying to get it, when at last I have it, the only looks that come into my head are wearing it!
Going back to today's layered look, the colours that I centred on were green and grey in different tones. Breaking away a bit from my adored black and relying on these two colours that I like so much and I think go perfectly together and layered.

Capas capas y más capas. La superposición de prendas de distintos largos en un mismo look es algo que siempre me ha gustado, me parece que enriquece mucho un outfit y visualmente queda genial, bajo mi punto de vista, claro, como todo, tendrá sus detractores. Además para invierno nos viene genial porque en la calle pasas frío luego entras en algún sitio y calor, de esta manera te pones o te quitas en función de lo que necesites, aunque a mi me gusta el resultado de la superposición completa, con todas sus capas, al más puro estilo cebolla. 
En este look vuelvo a sacar lo que creo que han sido los reyes de mi armario de esta temporada desde que entraron en él. El primero sin lugar a dudas el maxi cardigan, que no me lo quito, y la otra el abrigo largo de Pull & Bear que, aunque entró hace relativamente poco en el armario, es raro que salga a la calle sin él últimamente. Os pido perdón por esto pero es que cuando una prenda me gusta tanto y tengo tantas ganas de tenerla, cuando por fín la tengo, solo se me ocurren looks con ella!
Volviendo al look de superposición de prendas de hoy, los colores en los que me centré fueron el verde y el gris en sus diferentes tonalidades. Saliendo un poco de mi más que adorado negro y recurriendo a estos otros dos colores que me flipan y creo que van perfectos juntos y superpuestos.

Good morning! I have a hard week ahead of me, this afternoon I'll be grabbing my suitcase and heading off to Elche where I will be working practically all week.

To start the week with strength, here's a "partying" look to brighten up the beginning of the week.
You know how much I like sequins, but I like to wear them in looks that the majority wouldn't.  Being contrary in fashion and "doing what you want" is what I like most about putting outfits together and is usually what I do, especially with tops like today's.  Being a "dressy· item, I like to pair it with items that tone it down and make it more casual.
In this case I opted for this look for an afternoon with friends, that ended with dinner and went on late into the night, so to be comfy, elegant and casual all together I decided to combine the top with basic items and play on black and gold, adding a slight touch of red to break the monotony. A multi purpose look that takes in all the characteristics I mentioned before.

¡Buenos días! Se avecina una semana dura de trabajo para mi, hoy vuelvo a coger las maletas por la tarde hacia Elche donde estaré prácticamente toda la semana trabajando. 

Para empezar la semana con fuerzas, vengo con un look "fiestero" a ver si así la semana empieza con alegría. 

Sabéis lo mucho que me gustan las lentejuelas pero me gustan para usarlas en situaciones que la mayoría no las usa. Eso de llevar la contraria en la moda y el "hacer lo que te de la gana", es lo que más me gusta a la hora de vestir y lo que suelo hacer, sobre todo con prendas como el top que llevo hoy. Al ser algo tan "de vestir" me gusta combinarlo con prendas que le contrarresten y lo hagan más casual. 

En este caso opté por este look para una tarde de amigas que termina en cena y alargándose hasta bien entrada la noche, así que para ir cómoda, elegante y casual todo a la vez decidí combinarlo con prendas muy básicas y jugar con el negro y el dorado añadiendo un ligero toque de color rojo para romper la monotonía de look. Un look todo terreno que abarca todas las características que os he comentado arriba.

Good morning guys! New week and I'm starting it with my suitcase and at the airport again. First trip of the year. When you read this I'll be on my way to Garda in Italy, and yes, again for work and for more or less 24 hours, tomorrow I'm coming back home. 

About today's outfit, a base of my favorite combo, black and white (of course) that changes completely with the little details that completes it like the hat, the blanket/cape, the booties that add  that kind of "tough" touch, breaking with the sophisticated look of the rest of the outfit, and the earcuff in the same line. 

It's nothing new that one of the "must haves" of the season has been the blanket/cape thanks to the one we all dream of from Burberry. Well I bought this one from Zara that reminds me slightly of the original and it's super warm and cozy. it's the perfect accessory  to complete our winter outfits with an extra color and stay warm.

The hat, well the maxi hat, is something that has been on my wish list  for a couple of seasons and it wasn't until the end of the year that I found the perfect one for me (finally!!!) I know it's big but I love it and you all know my weakness for hats. Until now I was using a similar one of a friend of mine but I finally have my own!

Those of you that follow me on Instagram (@toks_amy) you'll remember this outfit from about a month ago, I wore it for the Zanox event in Madrid. I'm really sorry for the delay in posting it but with the crazy December I've had I totally forgot about it and it wasn't until this weekend that I was updating all the blog stuff that I found it on my computer.

Buenos días! Nueva semana y yo la estreno con maletas y en aeropuerto. Primer viaje del año. Cuando leáis esto estaré  ya de camino a Garda en Italia y si, otra vez por trabajo y para más o menos 24 horas ya que mañana vuelvo a casa.

En cuanto al look de hoy, un look de base sencilla del combo blanco y negro (como no) y que cambia por completo gracias a los detalles que lo completan, como el sombrero, la capa/manta, los botines que le aportan fuerza y rompen con la sofisticación del outfit y el "earcuff" en la misma línea.

No es nada nuevo que uno de los "must" de la temporada han sido las capa/manta gracias a la más que conocida de Burberry, con la que la mayoría soñamos, pues yo me hice con esta de Zara que tiene cierto aire y que calienta un montón y es un accesorio perfecto para completar los looks de invierno aportando un extra de color y sobre todo protegernos del frío. 

El sombrero, bueno maxi sombrero, era algo que llevaba en mi "wishlist" desde hace varias temporadas y que no he conseguido encontrar el perfecto para mí hasta casi final de año (por fín!!) Es verdad que es grande pero me parece precioso y ya sabéis la debilidad que siento por los sombreros. Hasta ahora me conformaba con el de una amiga que me lo dejaba de vez en cuando pero por fín tengo el mío.

Los que me seguís en Instagram (@toks_amy) os acordaréis que es el look que llevé hace más de un mes a Madrid para asistir al evento de Zanox, y la verdad es que siento el retraso en publicarlo, pero es que con la locura de mes de Diciembre que he tenido, se me pasó por completo y este fin de semana poniéndome al día con temas del blog lo encontré en una carpeta.
