Good morning guys! Starting a new week and today I have some news. Last night I published a post saying that I've opened a channel on YouTube, yes, extending the blog at last! I've had the idea in my head for nearly a year but it hasn't been possible until now, but you know what they say.... better late than never, no?

I'll be more than happy to read any suggestions you may have for new videos and your comments about what I publish.  Please don't be too hard on me on this first video because I've always been really shy talking to camera and listen to my voice taped but it's to time to overcome that, don't you think?

About today's look, I think, and hope, that it will be the last really wintery look I'll be publishing here in Seville, because the weather has changed radically and spring has already arrived, happily!  Well even if it is a winter look, the colours convert it into a look with a certain air of spring and joy. I've always thought that pale pink and burgundy are a great combo so I decided to opt for a look with that duo.

¡Buenos días chicos! Empezamos una nueva semana y yo os traigo una nueva noticia. Anoche publiqué un post en el que os contaba que he abierto un canal de Youtube, si, ampliación del blog por fin! Llevaba cerca de un año con esta idea en la cabeza pero no ha podido ser posible hasta ahora, pero como dicen, mejor tarde que nunca ¿no?

Espero que os guste esta ampliación del blog, en el que publicaré cositas distintas a las que comparto por aquí y así darme a conocer un poco más. Estaré encantada de leer sugerencias para nuevos videos y todos vuestros comentarios acerca de todo lo que publique. Solo os pido que no seáis muy duros con este primer video ya que siempre he tenido fobia a hablarle a una cámara y a escuchar mi voz grabada, pero ya es hora de superarlo ¿no créeis?

En cuanto al look de hoy, creo y espero que sea el último realmente invernal que publique estando aquí en Sevilla, y es que el tiempo ha cambiado radicalmente y ya ha llegado la primavera a la ciudad, ¡que alegría! En fin, aún siendo un look invernal, los colores lo convierten en algo con cierto aire primaveral y alegre. El rosa palo y el burdeos siempre me han parecido una gran combinación, así que decidí optar por un look total de este dúo de color.

I can't believe it's Thursday already. This week is really one of the hardest weeks I've had since I started working in Seville a year ago. Never ending days and loads and loads of work. I really need the weekend more than ever, to rest and disconnect.

Today's look is in my line of mixing styles, contrasts. A look that's totally in trend this season. You know that the "Normcore" trend is one of my favourites and I adapt it to my own style, as I usually do with trends that I like.

Today I've mixed, equally, casual and sophisticated items and this is the result. What do you think of today's contrast?

Parece mentira que sea jueves ya. Sinceramente esta está siendo una de las semanas más duras desde que empecé a trabajar hace casi un año aquí en Sevilla. Días eternos y mucho mucho trabajo. Necesito más que nunca el fin de semana, descansar y desconectar.

El look de hoy en mi línea de mezcla de estilos, de contrastes. Un look que está a la orden del día en la tendencia de esta temporada. Sabéis que la tendencia "Normcore" es una de mis favoritas y la adapto a mi propio estilo como siempre suelo hacer con las tendencias que me gustan. 

Hoy mezclo a partes iguales las prendas casual y sofisticadas y este es el resultado. ¿Qué os parece el contraste de hoy?

Marsala. Yes or no?

 As you probably know, Pantone Colour Institute has announced "Marsala" as colour of the year 2015.  

This wine inspired tone has been received with opinions for and against but Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of Pantone says the colour “enriches our mind, body and soul, exuding confidence and stability". 

Although there may be detractors, the colour is appearing in fashion and beauty products and home decor.

Como sabéis, Pantone Instituto de Color ha anunciado que "Marsala" es el color del año 2015.
Este tono inspirado en el vino ha sido recibido con opiniones a favor y en contra pero Leatrice Eiseman, Directora Ejecutiva de Pantone dice que el color "enriquece nuestra mente, cuerpo y alma, derocha confianza y estabilidad".
Aunque puede haber detractores, el color está apareciendo en la moda y productos de belleza y decoración del hogar.

Marsala can be paired safely with neutral tones like white beige, camel, brown, grey and black and if you are more adventurous you could try pinks, blues, greens or yellows.

Marsala se puede combinar facilmente con tonos neutros como el blanco, beige, camel, marron, gris y negro y si eres más arriesgado podrías probar con tonos rosas, azules, verdes o amarillos.

Marsala should not be confused with burgundy which is a dark red colour associated with the Burgundy wine of the same name, while Marsala has more of a lighter red brown hue.

No debemos confundir Marsala con burdeos que es un rojo oscuro asociado con el vino de Burdeos del mismo nombre, mientras Marsala es un color rojo/marron más claro.

Good morning guys! It's Thursday, and not long 'till the weekend. I've had my mind on the weekend since Tuesday, I need to rest, I've been pushing myself so hard lately and I haven't been feeling so well this week but I haven't wanted to give in, so you can imagine how much I'm looking forward to tomorrow afternoon and starting the weekend. I hope I'm going to be able to get some rest, even if it's just a little bit!

Today's look is all about contrasts (of course!) but this time masculine and femenine contrasts. A look where both styles can come together perfectly without clashing with each other (perfect world, right?)
The look is basically masculine and mixing a casual sporty sweatshirt with dressier items, like the trousers and the coat. That's the part that gives the look the sophisticated, masculine touch, we add the necklace and the heels that give the femenine air and "voila", we have a perfect result for a look for the office.  Elegant and sophisticated at the same time as young and fresh and very trendy. Don't you think?

¡Buenos días amores!  Ya es jueves, que poco queda para el fin de semana.  Es que desde el martes tengo mi mente puesta en el fin de semana, necesito descansar, mi cuerpo se está rindiendo a tanto ajetreo y llevo toda la semana un poco malita y no permitiendome caer del todo así que podéis imaginaros las ganas que tengo de mañana por la tarde y empezar el finde.
 ¡Espero poder descansar aunque sea un poco!

Hoy os traigo un look de contrastes (¡como no!) pero esta vez de contrastes entre el estilo masculino y el femenino. Un look en el que los dos estilos pueden convivir a la perfección sin matarse el uno al otro (mundo perfecto verdad? jaja ) 

La base del look es básicamente masculina y mezclando sudadera casual, deportiva con prendas de vestir como los pantalones y el abrigo. Esa parte aporta el toque sofisticado masculino, a ello le añadimos collar y salones que dan el toque femenino, y "voilá!" tenemos el resultado perfecto para un look de trabajo. Elegante y sofisticado a la vez que joven fresco y muy de tendencia ¿no os parece?

¡Que tengáis un buenísimo jueves! ¡Ánimo que no queda nada para el finde! 

(Creo que esto me lo estoy repitiendo a mi misma cada 5 minutos...jajaja)
